Round Up Pro can be used to control broadleaf and grassy weeds including dandelions dallisgrass, johnsongrass, thistle, spurge, fescue, quackgrass, and bahiagrass as well as some brush and woody plants.,
For Use In
Round Up Pro is used in many situations from agricultural farming to industrial vegetation management. It can also be used around residential homes and commercial businesses to control unwanted weeds. Roundup Pro is also used by many highway right of way (ROW) management companies, cities, counties, and municipal governments.,
Apply to foliage of vegetation to be controlled. Applications should be made using the spray to wet method ensuring a uniform and broad application. Do not spray to the point of runoff since the roundup must contact the leaf to be effective. Use a coarse spray to prevent drift of the product.
For control of listed weeds that are 6" or less in height use a .4% solution of roundup pro (0.5 oz per gallon).
For weeds that are over 6" tall use a .8% solution of roundup pro (1oz per gallon).
To control difficult perennial weeds like thistle and bermudagrass use a 1.6% solution of roundup (2oz per gallon).
To control brush and woody plants with Roundup Pro use a 8% solution which is 10.5 ounces per gallon.
Whenever applying roundup pro make sure spray coverage is uniform and covers at least 50% of the target plant's foliage. If possible it is best to coat the top half of the plant's foliage to get best results.
Make sure to apply when the plants are actively growing. Efficacy will be reduced if the plants were just cut or mowed as surface area is reduced and the ability of the plant to take the chemical up into the vascular system is reduced.
Each 2.5 gallon of Round Up Pro will treat up to 10 acres at the lowest mix rate.
Time to Kill
RoundUp Pro will take 2-3 days for results to be seen. It is best to spray when the plants are actively growing to ensure uptake of the chemical into the plant's vascular system.
The Round Up Pro mix rate is 1-10.5 ounces per gallon of water depending on target weed. When mixing roundup pro make sure to use only clean stainless steel or plastic sprayers
