For Use In

This product is safe to use on turfgrass, plantings, roadsides, tank farms, storage areas, Christmas tree farms, golf courses, fields, nurseries and lawns.,


APPLICATION Apply Quali-Pro Prodiamine 65 WDG in a minimum of 20 gals./acre (0.5 gal./1000 sq. ft.) of carrier (water and/or fluid fertilizer) using a calibrated, low-pressure sprayer with 50 mesh or coarser screens. A broadcast boom or handheld wand designed for herbicide or insecticide application will provide the best results. Select nozzle pressure and gallonage to provide complete coverage.

For optimum weed control, Quali-Pro Prodiamine 65 WDG should be activated by at least 0.5 inch of rainfall or irrigation before weed seeds germinate and within 14 days following application. See the map below for approximate crabgrass seed germination dates.

Time to Kill

When used as directed Prodiamine should kill weeds quickly and leave a lasting residual allowing for you to wait to reapply the product in longer intervals.

Mix Rate

Mix Prodiamine at a rate of 1.0 to 2.3 lbs per acre or 0.4 oz to 0.83 per 1000 square feet. Apply at a rate of 20 gallons per acre.

Prodiamine 65 WDG (WG stands for Wettable Dispersible Granule) is an effective pre-emergent herbicide for pre-emergent grass and broadleaf weed control.
