Fleas Roaches (German, Asian, and Brown-banded), Crickets, Litter Beetles, and Flying Insects ,
For Use In
Nyguard Insect Growth Regulator is for use in the home and in food and non-food areas of restauruants, food processing plants, food and non-food warehouses, grocery stores and supermarkets, schools, office buildings, apartments, hotels and motels, hospitals, tobacco plants and warehouses, manufacturing plants, commercial and industrial buildings, transportation equipment, and outside on lawns and building perimeters.,
Use between 4 mls and 11mls of Nyguard per gallon of water as a diluted spray or ULV/fogger to prevent eggs, larvae and nymphs from maturing into reproductive adults. Apply NyGuard in combination with a non-IGR adulticide to knockdown and kill existing adult populations while breaking the cycle of your toughest insect pests.
General Surface Application (including Broadcast, Spot and Crack
; Crevice): Apply as a surface application at the rate of 11 ml. in one gallon of water to treat 1,500 square feet.

NyGuard is effective indoors and outdoors. NyGuard may be used in food and non-food areas. NyGuard's active ingredient is Pyriproxyfen, an Insect Growth Regulator (IGR), which is a juvenile hormone mimic (JHM). This insect control system prevents pest developments. The naturally occurring juvenile hormone regulates and stimulates the developmental process of insects. High concentrations of juvenile hormone stimulate the molting process. The level of juvenile hormone then drops to low levels, which leads to normal maturation of the larvae (larva to pupa, pupa to adult, or nymph to adult molt).

NyGuard insect control system interferes with this synchronized balance of hormones during the molting process. Treatment with NyGuard IGR introduces and maintains high concentrations of juvenile hormone mimic at critical points during the insect developmental process. Thus, normal maturation of larvae or nymphs is prevented. The result is the insect stays in an immature stage indefinitely. When this happens the insects with complete metamorphosis will continue to molt from larva to larva until it dies. Insects with incomplete metamorphosis will remain in nymph stage, or have morphological deformation, maturing into sterile, non-reproductive adults. This insect control system will keep your infestation problem from getting out of control. NyGuard IGR disrupts the normal metamorphosis process of immature insects. Pest Control Treatment with NyGuard will disrupt the growth, development and reproduction in many insect species in a manner that is environmentally acceptable. The biological results in the target insects are most commonly death or deformity with sterility. NyGuard IGR does not kill adult insects. For best results, use NyGuard in combination with an insecticide that will kill existing populations of insects. Once the active insect populations have been eliminated, NyGuard insect control system will remain to disrupt the maturation of eggs or other immature stages of the insect population. NyGuard insect growth regulator controls 29 types of insects, including ants, cockroaches, crickets, fleas, flies, moths and stored product pests. Effective both indoors and outdoors, NyGuard IGR can also be used in food areas with no set back. The formula lasts up to seven months and can be applied via carpet shampoo, diluted spray or ULV/fogger. NyGuard insect control system causes morphological abnormalities in eggs, larvae or nymphs, preventing them from maturing into reproductive adults. It can also be used in conjunction with a non-IGR insecticide when adults are present to act as a residual to disrupt immature that have yet to emerge.
