How It Works The IGR in Gentrol Aerosol provides preventative action, since it disrupts pests' normal development. Placing the bait on the Gentrol Point Source cockroach control device encourages cockroaches to feed on the bait. As a result, cockroaches defecate on the Gentrol Point Source device, which in turn attracts more cockroaches due to the aggregate pheromone in their feces. The plastic on Gentrol Point Source will not extract moisture from the bait like porous, unfinished wood, tile and concrete can.
