Oberon 2SC insecticide/miticide is used for controlling mite and whitefly

Oberon 2SC miticide/insecticide from Bayer Crop Science is now labeled by the U.S. EPA for sale and use, although some state labels are pending.
It is an active against all developmental stages of mites, including eggs and adults. Treated immature pests cannot grow into the next development stage and subsequently die. Treated adult females produce fewer eggs, and eggs that are produced have lower hatching rates. Rain fast once it dries on the leaf surface, Oberon provides consistent control up to 30 days and many trials show even longer control, says Jon Mixson, Oberon product manager for Bayer Crop Science. Oberon is an attractive new option to help growers, pest control advisers and crop consultants manage resistance.
Oberon is easy on the environment and will withstand environmental elements.Oberon is unaffected by temperature or light. Mixson notes that Oberon is an integrated pest management-friendly compound. Its selective activity against target pests makes it soft on beneficial insects, and it poses Minimal risk to people and the environment.
