WHEN DO YOU USE SNAKE OUT®
Snake Out® can be used anywhere you don’t want snakes to be or anyplace snakes are a problem. You can apply it to repel snakes around homes, yards, landscaping, gardens, foundations, barns & outbuildings, garages, woodpiles, sheds, campsites—anyplace where snakes may be a problem. Snake Out® comes in an easy-to-apply patented Comfort Grip® container.
HOW DOES SNAKE OUT® WORK?
Snake Out® doesn’t harm snakes; instead, it actually repels them—naturally. Snake Out® contains a unique blend of natural ingredients that snakes find very unpleasant. Snakes “taste” the surrounding air, and the special blend of ingredients in Snake Out® is especially unpleasant to them. When snakes come into contact with Snake Out® in the air, an escape/avoidance reaction is triggered so the snakes are actually repelled away from the product.
Inspection – the first step
If the snake is inside:
The snake is there for a reason, food, water, too hot, too cold, too dry. Food is most important. Inspect for signs of rodents, the snake may be following food into the structure. Inspect for entry points into the structure; holes in foundations, missing vents, etc.
If the snake is outside in the yard:
It probably is just passing through. What shape are the grounds in?
Sanitation: You can help create an unwelcome environment for snakes
Clean up yard area to remove hiding places.
Exclusion: You can make repairs to prevent snakes from entering the home.
You should eliminate any rodent populations in or around the structure to remove any food problems. You will apply a barrier of Snake Out at least a foot wide on the inside crawlspace foundation walls and into cracks, holes and entry points into the structure.
