Benefits of Bird Repellents

Using bird repellents is a fast and easy way to get rid of birds for long periods of time. They work to repel most birds including pigeons, starlings, sparrows, ducks, water birds and many more.

What are the benefits of using bird repellents?

  • Safe – Here at ePest Solutions we sell bird repellent in two forms: spray and gel. They are both highly effective and safe to use. The spray was formulated with USDA assistance and is graded as “generally recognized as safe” by the FDA and “reduced risk” by the EPA. It is also biodegradable and can be sprayed on almost any outdoor surface, including trees, plants, fruit, decks, roofs, statues, farmland and even nests. It does not kill the birds; it is a bitter, smelly substance that deters them from the area.
  • Long term results – Generally people see changes with bird repellents within the first two applications and after three or four the birds learn not to return there. These results last up to one year in most weather conditions and can be reapplied as needed. Imagine only having to apply bird repellent once a year!
  • Easy to use – Both the gel and the spray are incredibly easy to use and the directions are simple to follow. We recommend you wash the area you wish to treat first; remove all dirt, debris and droppings from the area and spray down with water. Also remove any nesting material. Then apply the bird repellent to the area. We recommend you treat it a few times within the first few weeks to a month. This will provide you with optimal results.
