When You Want to Kill Flying Insects – Riptide Pyrethrin is The Best!

Riptide Pyrethrin is a water-based pyrethrum botanical insecticide. It is great when used in mosquito misting systems since it is very easy on landscape or ornamental plants and since it is water based and leaves no oily residue. Best of all it is convenient to use and economical as well. It is ideal for controlling most all pesky flying insects and safe for mammals. It comes from the chrysanthemum flower and has been used to kill insects for hundreds of years.

Riptide – Great for Misting Systems!
Riptide has a unique formula that works well in taking care of hard to kill insects like gnats and no-see-ums. You can use it indoors and outdoors. If you are using it in a misting system, make sure you test for proper PH balance. Anything outside the recommended PH will cause Riptide Pyrethrin to degrade and will deplete its effectiveness. When you are planning your misting system, make sure it is away from direct sunlight as Riptide will degrade at high temperatures.

Dawn and dusk are great times to set the mister when insects are most active. If you are going to set the system up yourself, always follow all recommendations for correct usage and how to maintain the system. It is vital to follow all state and federal regulations regarding the use of insecticide and its use in the misting system so make sure the product label is secured to the misting system at all times.

Keep Creepy Crawlies at Bay!
Keeping the tank clean will prevent the development of bacteria that will break down Riptide. Regularly clean the misting nozzles and filters to maximize the system’s effectiveness and coverage area. Since pyrethrins have an insecticide nature, Riptide kills other crawling insects as well including beetles, cockroaches, silverfish, spiders, waterbugs, mealworms, and weevils. Riptide Pyrethrin is a great insecticide to use indoors and outdoors and will keep you and your pets safe, along with taking care of those creepy crawlies.
