Carpenter Ant Control with Termidor
I have had a very bad carpenter ant problem. Here is a overview of my situation. I built a log home about five years ago and have had a problem since. I hired a pest control guy and when he first came he used the dust indoors and the advance granular bait outside. After the first time he came hundreds of ants were killed. I thought my problem was gone, but no. Each year the ant guy comes every month and and uses the dust and the advance bait and the ants still keep coming every summer, bad. Last year he came and sprayed a spray outside the perimeter of my house and in the bad ant areas and it seemed to help out a lot. Ants are always bad in the summer and not in the winter. I have been putting the advance bait outside near where I think the ants were coming from (old stumps, ect.) So far ants have not been bad. I would like to know what your opinion is on what I should do. These ants have done quite a bit of damage to my logs and floor joists already. Thanks for your help, Aaron
Termidor would be the product of choice for your situation, you can spray it along the areas you are seeing the ants outside. It is non repelling and so the ants continue to move around through the termidor, bring it back to the colony for colony elimination.

I have also used the perimeter barrier sprays for ants. I do it every spring around the entire perimeter of the house at the base of the foundation and the cement and it gets rid of also all ants.
