Versatile and reusable container designed for use where Fruit Fly (drosophila) flying insect pests are a problem
The monitoring system will attract and capture small flies
Designed for use in areas such as restaurants, bars and cafes, where it can be wall-mounted or stood on a flat surface.
The DEMI-DIAMOND is ideal for use as an insect monitoring system to check for activity or for where identification is needed.
The reservoir in the bottom of the monitor can be used to hold attractive fly bait substances that will increase the effectiveness and attraction of the fly traps. In the case of Fruit Fly (Drosophila) these substances could include any fermenting liquid or solid e.g. wine, beer, fruit juice or pieces of fruit.
The versatility of the station also means it can be used to monitor various other problem insects using pheromone enhanced glue boards such as Stored Product Moths (ephestia and plodia) and textile moths (tineola bisselliella), making it ideal for food storage areas and anywhere where textile moths are a potential problem e.g. museums.
The Demi-Diamond has been designed with the customer in mind, not only is the station easy to inspect as a result of the triangular holes along the monitor but the holes make access easy for flying insects to enter.
