    Cy-Kick CS Insecticide

Prescription Treatment brand Cy-Kick CS Controlled Release Cyfluthrin is the multi-use insecticide designed for professionals like yourself who want an insect control product that works just as smart as you do. It dishes out 90 days of full-throttle, broad-spectrum killing power, controlling insects inside and outside, on the toughest areas and surfaces. The difference is SmartCap microencapsulation technology that protects cyfluthrin to create a long residual and a mobile lethal dose of this broad-spectrum active ingredient that insects easily pick up. Cy-Kick CS has the high-powered performance and flexibility you need, at a competitive price. And it's much less likely to cause skin irritation than some other insect control products.

    What is Cy-Kick CS

    Designed for Better Results

SmartCap Technology is designed to reduce mammalian toxicity to professionals offering pest control, while it increases field performance, durability and flexibility. The microcapsules are manufactured by essentially adding an outer shell (a carbon-based polymer) to a droplet of oil that contains cyfluthrin, the active ingredient (a.i.) in Cy-Kick CS. The end result is a powerful droplet of cyfluthrin in a polymer capsule. 95% of the capsules are less than 20 microns in diameter, the same tiny size as the droplets produced from the best ULV equipment. State-of-the-art SmartCap Technology provides many benefits for you and your customers. Inside the capsule, cyfluthrin is suspended in a drop of oil, which means the active ingredient quickly penetrates to other oily/waxy surfaces, like the exoskeletons of insects. As soon as an insect comes into contact with Cy-Kick CS, cyfluthrin starts moving from inside the capsule toward the insect and then quickly into its system.

    A Minefield of Coverage

The density of Cy-Kick CS is very similar to water, resulting in an even, consistent mixture that requires very little agitation to remain in full suspension. When sprayed, Cy-Kick CS creates a thick blanket of microcapsules. The barrier is impossible for insects to cross without exposing themselves to a lethal dose of insecticide. In fact, the likelihood that insects will receive a lethal dose is higher than with any other encapsulated product because Cy-Kick CS has five times the number of capsules than its nearest encapsulated competitor.1

    Mobile Lethal Dose

Chances of insect exposure are extremely high because the capsules stay on the surface where they're applied and won't bind to organic matter or be absorbed in porous surfaces. When insects crawl across the barrier, they pick up microcapsules on their hairs and body triggering a rapid release of the active ingredient that is absorbed by the insect's exoskeleton. This mobile lethal dose of Cy-Kick CS Insecticide microcapsules can also be ingested during the grooming process. Contact time required to receive a lethal dose is very short because of the ease that the insect picks up capsules and the fast diffusion of the cyfluthrin.

    No cobwebs
We bought this to deter ants and spiders. Purchased an inexpensive tank sprayer and appication is very easy. Not to mention we are saving a ton of money by doing it ourselves as opposed to paying an exterminator. Definitely recommend.

Works for existing scorpions but does not keep others out.
We had a terrible scorpion infestion when we moved into our new house. I used the Orther MAX bug spray throughout the yard and it appeared to kill some scorpions but did not kill them all. I received the 16oz. bottle on March 24th. I applied the Cy-Kick CS heavily with the 2oz per gallon ratio the same day. I have been hunting scorpions at night with a black light and hammer for about the last 2 months and I am still finding 1 or 2 scorpions a night. After spraying the Cy-Kick CS, I was still finding scorpions but not as many. Many of the reviews said they did not find anymore after 3 days so I waited 1 week before applying more Cy-Kick CS. Yet, 1 more week after having sprayed 2 different times in less than 3 weeks, I am still finding some scorpions but not as many. I have created a barrier of spray around all of our fences, yard and house. The scorpions are still coming over the fence from the neighbors house. I think this product has helped but has not solved the problem completely.

    Works great for scorpions
This is the only thing I've found that actually works on scorpions. A day after I spray I see them dead or dying (moving really slowly) in the garage and on the patio. It gives you a min and max mix ratio (1-2 oz per gallon I think). I mix it around 1.5 oz and it takes about 3 gallons total to spray around my house (~3000 sq ft house).

    Cy_Kick + Demand CS = no bugs
I have tried this and Demand CS and have had excellent results with both. But I always like to keep the Demand CS around for a good, thorough kill of spiders, and all the other critters that like to make our homes theirs. I tried this in order to get rid of scorpions as the Demand CS was not that successful with them. Seems to be working quite well.

    Does the job...
Have been using this product for over a year now. I canceled my monthly service and decided to do my insect spraying myself. The results have matched or exceeded professional spraying and I am saving money as well. If I see a bug that has passed the perimeter spraying boundary, it is either dead or it will be shortly.

Ask a question about this product.

Q: Is Cy-Kick CS the right product to use for bees (yellow jackets) that burrow holes/next in our hedges? It has become a problem in the spring when swarms of yellow jackets appear to next in the ground.

A: Better if you can apply a dust, like delta dust into the holes, you will want a contact insecticide like Wasp freeze to kill as many as you can before you dust.

Q: Can Cy-Kick be safely used on vegetable garden plants?

A: No you will not want to use Cy-kick CS for your Vegetable Garden, Malation would be a better choice for insect control. http://www.epestsolutions.com/malathion-57-insecticide-quart.html
