Cricket Traps and Baits

Crickets are members of the order Orhoptera, which includes grasshoppers and katydids. Crickets are recognized by the way they carry there wings. Crickets carry its wings folded around the body, whereas the grasshopper carry its wings tent  like over the body. House and field crickets usually feed on plants, but are not strickly vegetarian.

Crickets are attracted to warmth and so they are often found around the kitchen, fireplace, furnace and water heater. They will hide in cracks, behind baseboards, and may burrow into the mortar of walls.
