Due to the new EPA regulations passed on June 4, 2011, Contrac Blox can now only be sold in at least 16 pounds, which is why we have to sell the 4lb pail by the case. You can still purchase Fastrac Blox and Terad3 Blox in 4 lb pails.
We Recommend that all rodenticides be placed in a rodent bait station that is tamper proof and wil prevent accidental poisoning. We cannot and will not be help liable for misuse and storage of any rodenticides.
Please use with care and caution, enclose your baits in EZ Kleen Bait Stations!
Contrac All-weather Blox Rodenticide is a single feeding Rat and Mouse bait. It is the idea blend of food grade ingredients and low wax to yield a highly palatable, weatherable bait that is very attractive to rodents. Secondary poisoning is very minimal with Contrac and an antidote to the poison (vitamin K1) is readily available. The entomologists at ePestSolutions recommend placing the blox in tamper resistant bait stations to protect the bait from non-target animals such as dogs and cats.
Active Ingredient: Bromadiolone
Available in Economical 4 lb and 18 lb pail
Enough bait blocks to kill hundreds of rats and mice
Each block has a hole in it to anchor into a bait station
Kills rats and mice in a single feeding
The most palatable bait block on the market
#1 bait block used by mouse control professionals
Outstanding Rodent Acceptance
CONTRAC All-Weather BLOX is a single-feeding anticoagulant rodenticide containing the active ingredient, Bromadiolone. Unsurpassed in rodent acceptance and rat / mouse control, CONTRAC BLOX is an excellent clean-out and maintenance bait to control mice and rats, including warfarin-resistant Norway rats.
CONTRAC BLOX is specially formulated with an optimal blend of food-grade ingredients and a small amount of paraffin.
The result is a highly palatable, yet weatherable, bait that works well in wet and dry conditions.
Bait acceptance with CONTRAC is superior due to its highly palatable formulation.
Plus, manufactured with Bell's extrusion process, CONTRAC BLOX has multiple edges that appeal to a rodent's desire to gnaw.
Rodents can consume a lethal dose in just one feeding. Bait shyness is not a problem with CONTRAC because mortality occurs a few days after bait is consumed.
CONTRAC is also less toxic to non-target animals, in both primary and secondary poisoning situations, than other single-feeding anticoagulants.
The antidote, Vitamin K1, is readily available and there is a time factor for treatment.
For ease of use, a hole in the center of the BLOX lets technicians place it on bait securing rods in tamper-resistant bait stations, or nail or wire the BLOX in place.
Pre-measured CONTRAC BLOX come in the popular-sized BLOX (1 oz., 28g, 15g) which work well placed in tight locations, nailed to rafters or ceilings, or in Bell's tamper-resistant bait stations. It is also manufactured in a mini-BLOX (5g) without a center hole, available in some international markets.

The Contrac Blox was much easier to use in the feeder and did it work. In a matter of days mice had eaten from all blox and I was finding dead mice. I've purchased six more feeders to fully protect my house.
I live in the Northwest where it is often wet. Even if the product gets wet the rats still take it. I live next to a greenbelt. Since putting out bait stations and adding bait every few months I have not had any rat problems whatsoever. It takes a month or two for all the stations to be emptied of the bait. Much better than having to fight rats in the crawl space every few years.
Effective control for Remote Desert Areas, 8.7.2010
Reviewer: Keith Boyd (Reno, NV)
Living in the remote desert mountain foothills brings many rats! The ate the firewall materials in my wifes car along with windshield wiper hoses in all our vehicles. They also ate through electrical lines for the oil sensor in one vehicle. Very costly repairs to say the least. Contrac Blox and 3 bait stations did the trick. After about 5 bait station refills, the Rats disappeared. I found they return each spring so I keep the stations baited to control the population.
We live in a very rural area in Riverside County, CA. We live on a hillside with acreage that has probably hundreds if not thousands of field mice. With using the Blox on a weekly basis in outside locations, we are able to keep the field mice from entering our home by feeding them the Contrac Blox outside. By placing 8 blocks a week outside we keep the threat of mice eliminated from inside out home. This costs us but a bit more than $3.00 a week to know we are free of rodents in our home. Contrac Blox work great for us!
