Cimarron Plus Weed Control
Cimarron Plus made by Dupont along with one pint of Surfactant. This is one of the newer herbicides on the market for the control of a huge range of weeds. This product is labeled for use on pastures, rangeland, and established grasses on acres enrolled in the conservation program. The number of broadleaf weeds which this product will control when used properly is pretty amazing. Please refer to label for weeds controlled. You can even control some of the nasty bahiagrass with this product. The application rate for this product ranges from .125 ounces per acre to 1.25 ounces per acre. So with a lot of the weeds you can spray out 16 acres with one bottle. This product is a dry flowable so it has a great shelf life when kept in a dry enviroment. Cimarron Plus control weeds by preemergence and postemergence activity. For best results, apply Cimarron Plus to young, actively growing weeds. The use rate will depend on the weed spectrum and the size weeds being controlled as well as the enviromental factors. Please refer to the label to determine the appropiate usage sites, application rates, precautions, proper application timing, and other factors to maximize the desired results.
Dupont Cimarron Plus is recommended for the control or suppression of broadleaf weeds in established stands (planted previous year, and or earlier) of the following perennial native or improved grasses grown on land enrolled in the Convervation Reserve Program: Blue Grama, Bluestems, Buffalograss, Green sprangletop, Indiangrass, Kleingrass, Lovegrasses, Orchardgrass, Switchgrass, Wheatgrass, Wildrye. The labeled pasture grasses are Bermudagrass, Bluegrass, Fescue (check label for minimum grass est. to Cimarron Plus application. This is a broadleaf herbicide intended to be used according to the label only. Make sure you know what you are doing before applying this product as adverse results may occur from the use of the product. Cimarron really works, so contact your extension agent or other specialist in your area to determine the weeds you want to kill and the plants or grasses you do not want killed.
