Bagworm Control Products

Identify and Prevent Bagworm Infestations

The bagworm caterpillars make distinctive little spindle shaped bags that we find hanging from twigs and leaves from trees and shrubs. The female moths cannot fly but the larvae of the bagworm can disperse. They create very small caterpillars that can spin fine strands of silk and then get carried off by the wind. The bagworm will feed for about six weeks, and in that time the bag will be enlarging. When you have large populations or heavy infestations over many years, they can cause plant death.
