  • The active ingredient in Archer Insect Growth Regulator is pyriproxyfen, an Insect growth regulator (juvenile hormone mimic).
  • Archer Insect Growth Regulator acts similarly to insect growth hormones that occur naturally in insects and acts on the immature life stages of the target insect, preventing the adult from developing.
  • In some species, such as fleas and flies, Archer Insect Growth Regulator also has activity on adult insects by affecting the reproductive organs.
  • Archer Insect Growth Regulator will control cockroaches, fleas, ants, litter beetles, crickets, ticks, and flying insect pests in and around homes, apartments, non-food storage and preparation areas of agricultural, industrial, institutional and commercial buildings, and transport vehicles.
  • Archer Insect Growth Regulator may be used to create outside treated perimeter areas around structures with treatments to soil, mulch, perimeter landscape plantings or grass to prevent indoor invasion by listed pest species.
  • Archer may not be applied directly to raw agriculture, food/feed commodities in warehouses, or transportation vehicles, but may be applied in storage areas where food items are sealed, such as bottled, boxed, or canned items, so that food contact is not anticipated.

Insect growth regulators are very popular for the use of controlling mosquitoes, cockroaches, fleas, flies, ticks and other nuisance pests.

Archer has some key features that make it stand out above the rest of the Insect Growth Regulators on the market.

Archer can be tanked mixed with Demand CS to prevent mosquitoes from becoming egg-laying adults, it can be used and applied in bushes and around the foundations and decks.

It is allowed to be used around buildings, moist breeding areas, in standing water such as found in gutters, drains adn pools.

Manufactured by Syngenta, it is capable of controlling large populations of mosquitoes, cockroaches, fleas, flies, ticks and more and will prevent them from becoming egg-laying adults both inside and out.

As a non repellent IGR, Archer effects the behavior of the egg-carrying cockroaches, this will cause them to abort their egg cases and return to the feeding process, which then helps you increase the success of your roach bait.

You will want to apply the Archer to areas where cockroaches are likely to crawl or rest.

Typical rate for Archer IGR when use for cockroach control and also crickets is 2 ounce of Archer to 1 gallon of water to cover about 1,000 square feet of area.

For Fleas, flies, ticks and litter beetles the rate is 1 ounce per gallon of water to apply to 1500 square feet of area.

The way Archer works it is an synthetic version of a naturally occurring hormone, and because it is used in such a low rate has very low impact on the environment.

Archer is an emuslifiable concentrate that is formulated with a unique mode of action for ling-lasting population control. What happens is the Archer interferes with the development of the insects eggs, larvae, pupae or nymphs.

Archer has also been formulated to have UV protection, sunscreen for the Insect Growth Regulator which keeps it working outdoors for up to 16 weeks, which can mean success in your flea control.

Archer is an ideal mixture with Demand CS, the two chemicals will work together, and because Demand CS has ICAP technology it will last and keep controlling longer than many other insecticides.
