FlintŪ fungicide is a powerful strobilurin fungicide that provides long-lasting, broad-spectrum disease control for grapes, pome fruits, cucurbit and fruiting vegetables, hops, leafy petiole vegetables and root vegetables. Flint goes beyond outstanding disease control, offering enhanced value for growers thanks to several unique properties. After application, the active ingredient is strongly absorbed by the waxy layers of treated plant surfaces, forming a powerful barrier against infection and continued release into the leaf tissue. It also moves through leaf tissue with translaminar movement to protect both sides of the leaf. In addition, moisture from rains, mist or heavy dew can move small but biologically active amounts of the active ingredient for short distances within the plant canopy - this provides more complete protection within hard-to-penetrate plant canopies. Last but not least, Flint interferes with respiration and energy production in the fungal cell, which effectively stops early and developing fungal diseases by preventing both initial infection as well as secondary spread of diseases.
