Equus 720 Fungicide
Equus brand chlorothalonil is registered for use on a wide variety of crops and for many fungal diseases, often forming the basis of disease management programs. Diseases such as early blight and late blight of potatoes and tomatoes are effectively controlled by Equus products. If managing gummy stem blight on cucurbits (Didymella) or leaf spot on peanuts is your challenge, then FarmSaver’s Equus is your product.
Chlorothalonil provides effective control of downy mildew when used as part of a disease prevention program. Equus is also effective early in the growing season when powdery mildew can weaken the plant and lead to more serious cucurbit diseases. Chlorothalonil is known to defeat resistance due to its multi-site mode of action. There’s the added benefit that it acts effectively both as a preventative and on contact.
To help prevent development of resistance to systemic chemistries, it is recommended to use Equus in rotation with single-site mode of action fungicides.
