QuickBayt® Fly Bait controls nuisance flies in or around livestock production facilities, poultry houses and horse stables.
QuickBayt® Fly Bait attracts flies with muscalure and red sugar. Kills flies resistant to organophosphates and carbamates in less than 60 seconds and lasts for up to 4 weeks.
Contains Imidacloprid with no known fly resistance. Use in bait stations or mix with water and paint surfaces where flies congregate.
How to apply QuickBayt Fly Bait
1.Scatter in areas where house fly numbers are excessive or where house fly breeding occurs
2.Apply at a rate of 1.5 oz (3 tbsp)/250 sq ft OR
3.Place QuickBayt in bait stations out of animal access at least 4 ft above the ground, in a motionless site where flies rest OR
4.As a paint-on, mix 3 lb QuickBayt with 1 qt water and paint on surfaces where house fly numbers are excessive
QuickBayt® contains 0.5% imidacloprid. The combination of two fly attractants and sugar in a porous matrix makes the ingredients readily available for flies.
The bait is red and can be used as scatter bait, a paint-on, or in fly bait stations.
(Note: Be sure to read and follow label directions prior to use). QuickBayt is Available in 5- and 40-lb pails, a 350g bottle and disposable fly bait strips.
This product is for the control of Nuisance Flies in and around livestock facilities and stables. If you want to paint on the solution you will mix 1.5 oz of of Quickbayt with 1 fluid ounce of warm water (larger mixture is 3lbs bait in 1 qt water), stir thoroughly until completely mixed. You will want to let it stand for 15 minutes until a pasty like consistency is achieved, this will make it suitable to paint in this form. Apply the paste with a brush to the surfaces where the flies are accumulating and resting, make sure the surfaces are clean and not dusty.

It contains a specially formulated mixture that is very attractive to flies in extruded pellet form
It will control flies resistant to organophosates and carbamates.
The attractant is Muscalure, and it also contains Bitrex which is a bittering agent to prevent accidental poisoning of other animals.
Coverage is 1.5 ounce/ 250 sq ft (1.5 ounce = 3 tablespoons)
Re-application is recommended every 7 days as needed.
Where to Apply:
For scatter application you will use around agricultural facilities, these can be broiler houses, turkey houses, caged layer houses, feedlots, dairy barns and swine confinement buildings.
Other places that can be applied as the Scatter Application is Canneries, dairy, meat and poultry processing, food processing plants, warehouses, dumpsters, recycling areas and loading docks.
Best Practice Recommendations to use a bait station when applying this inside of Horse Stables, broiler, turkey and caged layer houses, swine confinements, dairy and milking parlors.
For Paint on Application it is recommended to use inside and around the outside off the areas listed above.
How to Apply:
You will want to make sure that animals, children and pets do not have access to the Bait.
Apply the bait in as many locations as possible, for the best results. You will want to avoid cool and windy locations because it makes it hard for the flies to land and they prefer warm and motionless sites for resting.
Best practice is to start before the fly population season and continue using QuickBayt throughout the season.
Scatter Application; apply the dry bait directly from the pail onto a dry level surfaces. You want the small granules to lie close to each other but not form a pile.
For Bait Station Applications, there are EZ Fly Bait Stations that are locking stations that hold fly bait on trays inside. Use 1 bait station to cover the 250 square feet and add up to 1.5 ounces of Quickbayt to the bait stations. These should be secured at least 4 feet above the ground, which is ideal fly height.
